Sour cherries, slight earthiness and very soft edges - a real gem.

Cool aromas, with wild flowers, tar and dark cherry additions. Medium-bodied, youthfully tannic, but holding lovely fruit in reserve.

This is an outstanding wine.

It is clear medium ruby in colours.

The nose is clean and extremely complex pronounced intensity. Aromas of sour cherries, floral violet, cranberry, vanilla, cedar, forest floor, earth and cooked meat.

The palate is dry with high acid, medium (+) alcohol and high grippy tannins. The intensity is again pronounced with similar flavours as on the nose but the oak and earth is more prominent. The finish is long and complex.

Drink now but can also still age at least 10 years.

2011s are drinking nicely. Simple bottle which started well with bright red fruits and gripping tannins on the palate. However, this is one to drink quickly as it's structure went out of balance after about an hour or so.
