Nom-alicious. I know nom is a tired term but I’m using it. Next thing you know I’ll use the word moist except that this is not moist but full on wet. But also dry. Technically. It boasts ripe citrus and minerals, freshening the 8-year old viscosity and nutty nature. It is a beautiful wine with a fresh finish, it still feels fresh though—some things get better with age.

Citrus singes the surface, stone support from below. Longing for fruit flesh lingers into orange rind. Quite an amazing palate transit.

So poised and precise. Delicate Fruit with amazing barrel integration. My first from this producer, and very impressed.

Light, crisp, clean mineral accents, good on its own and fantastic when paired with a peppery dish. Had with a prawn and pancetta dish that brightened the wine’s flavor on the palate.

A delicious and interesting wine. White peaches, nectarines lighten a structured core with medium acid. Blind I would’ve guessed Burgundy but it’s Napa. It will continue to age gracefully.
