Been a little bit since I checked in on this. Baby Clos des Chenes. Nose is all stones, minerals, light cherry and seems closed aromatically. Palate is lush and rich with lovely balance, purity and freshness but seems closed. Lovely finesse. Serious dense fruit and structure. Black and red cherries. Great length but I'll check back in 2 hours if I'm up. If not tomorrow.

Jun 6th, 2017What a nose. Like a Volnay. So aromatic. Earthy, mushrooms, spice, elegance. Terrific, if a bit young palate, with nice juicy fruit, grippy tannins, terrific balance and length. Very impressive out of the bottle but firm tannins suggest much more. Can't wait. Score to go up. The fruit is sure to sweeten as it already did on my second sip as does the intense Stoney minerality. Excellent wine.

This wine tries but it’s not gonna make it in book. After 8 years this should start to show but it doesn’t. Cherry 🍒 mostly. Dried out and dusty. Some moss. But overall just limited in its scope.

Delicious plum. Spice. Dust in a good way. Juicy. I think that the fruit is at peak balance so if you like fruit drink em if you got em. Bought from fass selections.
