Patience rewarded with this bottle - lovely dark floral aromas, figs, blackberries, ripe red cherry (Sangiovese-like), balsamic, oregano, dark chocolate, smoked meat, oiled leather, scorched earth. Tannins are integrated and are in balance with fruit and acid on the palate. Lovely, complex bottle, enjoyed with Alex’s porchetta.

Black fruit, pepper, graphite. Game, cured meat. Heavy on the palate. Acid and fruit feels like it develops / opens late. Some dark roast coffee notes.

It needed a couple days to open up but when it did. Earth, bay leaf, spice, red currant. With hints of smoke.

Strong but excellent Aglianico, perfect with steak. Very peppery wine: it is not a wine that can be consumed on its own without food, and will not go well with lightly flavored foods. But with steak, veal, or lamb (but not pasta on its own) this is a great choice.

Aglianico grape deep red with notes of smoke and plum. Good sipper. Would let it breath for a bit though. Awesome wine!

Very nice!! Dark, brooching dark fruit and mineral on the nose. Very typical Aglianico with balance acidity, fruit and tannin. Finish long, sweet and complex. A lot of wine to take at the beginning, but developed nicely in a decanter for several hours.

Вишня и другие темные ягоды, белый душистый перец, песчано-глинистая почва, немного гвоздики. Танины сглаживаются только после часа декантации. Послевкусие прямое, но длительное и приятное, вишнёвое такое.

Rich & full bodied. Concentrated dark fruits mingling with stony ash flavors. Smooth tannins.
