@David L we simply couldn't get enough. Thank you so much for gifting this bottle to Jennifer and I. The nose puts the wine in the surreal spot showing decadent dried rose, raw meat and wild berry. Loads of ripe roasted fruits, chocolate and currant. Full integrated tannins and a secondary hints of spice. The finish is on! Burst of black fruits, that lingers for over 45 sec.

Deep ruby red. Tons of layered dark fruits on the nose with twigs and light nutmeg. A little savory too. Heavy tannins (9/10) and full bodied. Solid black cherries and dark fruits on the palate. Notes of baking spices and light bramble berries. Delicious but needs some time. Drink till 2034.

Truly wonderful where great tannins and fresh acidity frame a concentrated and expansive mid-palate, with toady oak adding chocolate and licorice flavors on the beautifully balanced finish. Easy 94+ points. Will evolved fir many years to come.

Jan 29th, 2016Bordering on the stuff of legends, this dense and powerful wine possesses loads of fruit but also refinement and balance. Well constructed tannins, positive acidity and rich fruit play well together with a toasty oak component providing support and already being nicely integrated. No doubt that Andy E is a rock star winemaker.

Jan 25th, 2016Andy is a genius with his blends. The nose is full of perfume & dry flowers. Very refined tannins, pronounced spices, tobacco. Look forward to trying this vintage many times in the next 10 years . Favia wines just get better and better!

Sweet Jesus was this good. Ages like Jennifer Aniston. Vintage has been a hit or miss for me but this is F’in awesome.
