Enjoyed this Chianti. Berries on the nose, tannic and well-balanced. Lots of strawberry with a hint of must and smoke. Would love to have again, with or without food.

Yep, it was Italian Night at our house. This Chianti Classico went perfectly with ravioli stuffed with fire-roasted tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella, and basil with a home-made roasted tomato sauce complete with sauteed ground wild boar. Awesome!

Feb 28th, 2022Enjoy med this wine. Definitely better to pair with food. Rather potent on its own. Dusty rose color. Leather and strawberry on the nose. Medium bodied. Bright fruits and subtle smokiness. Would love to have again with another red sauce Italian dinner.
