A nice well balanced light Pinot Noir. Easy drinking. Reasonable price. Good to have as a basic always in stock go to Pinot. 2014 Vintage

Based in Monterey & founded in 1986. The name Estancia, translated from the Spanish word for "estate," emphasizes the wines capture the essence of their origin. Ruby with red fruit aromas and sweet spice. On the palate cherry and strawberry with cinnamon spice, ok balance, grainy tannins with medium length ending with savory notes.

Give it a breather for at least 30 minutes to get the full smooth effect or it will start off a bit too strong. After that, a luscious, smooth ride with hints of berry and perfect with lamb.

Light and somewhat refreshing, this Pinot is a bit disappointing as it lacks any intrigue. Easy drinking though, and it doesn't offend.

Really good, well balanced Pinot that was complex enough to not be boring. Paired it with sushi salad at home on 1/3/17. Gifted for Christmas 2016 from Ariel's family.
