Closest New World wine to Beaujolais I’ve ever had. Crunchy, tangy berries and granite like minerals in the nose. Dry, fruity, and light in the mouth. Nice freshness, actually some youthful and very fine/grained tannin. Pretty long finish for a quaffer. Nice!

Bright! Candied watermelon, lime pith, grapefruit acidity. Marjoram and dill. Light body, chalk and mineral finish. Drinks like a crisp dry white or a Beaujolais with a little yeastiness in the aftertaste. Really cool natural wine fun to try out.

Ok. Look. I get it. This is not a wine for everyone. But for a real wine that reflects a winemakers vision of non-interventionist winemaking, this is it. On the nose, very aromatic floral notes, bright red fruit. In the mouth, light high-toned red fruit, some strong acidity... backend of some dill pickles (in a good way). Medium-long finish. My kinda wine. Wouldn’t bring it to someone that likes oaky Cabs.

Day 2 - much richer and darker, more like a 91. Really a well made wine.

Boujey as a geographic adjective. Whole cluster and sour and rested in fresh concrete. A mystery box of grapes. I’ll guess there is Grenache and maybe some Pinot and Syrah. Unfiltered and a bed of thick sediment. Tingly high pitched perfume and then spiced cherry cola, cinnamon, and blackberry.
