Just out of the bottle this was a bit 'big'. It screamed exotic fruits; a bit too much to my taste. The palate was not that heavy, so it felt slightly out of balance. I missed (hoped for) minerality/citrus (tension?) too. Left half the bottle for the next day. The 'bigness' was gone and on the palate it gained weight (in a nice acidic way). Will def. benefit from proper decanting or longer aging. Made by Lalou Bize-Leroy 'in the vineyard'. They don't have a winemaker on the payroll. Great quality Bourgogne Blanc, made out of declassified Meursault, Puligny and Savigny fruit. But at this pricelevel there is serious competition around the corner...

2010 vintage. Creamy, fresh, crisp with grass, lemon peel and green apple. Became faceless and watery after about 30 minutes, as well as it's got some egg funk. Not so decent regional bottle from amazing producer.
