Nose has lemon peel, green apple peel, saline solution, wet beach sand and crushed oyster shells; Restrained.

Palate has warmed lemon, dried lemon pith, steely minerals, sea salt and lemon peel.

A very nice wine, but a departure from the 2014 version, atypical for this gifted producer.

Decanted 3H.

Fabien killed 15. Ripe and generous nose but with classic Lechet minerals. Apple skins and flint. Seashells. Beach. Saline. Palate is ripe and generous with dazzling purity and freshness. Awesome texture and depth. Showing out of its mind. Amazing freshness.

Crisp well balanced acidity with some flinty minerality on nose and palate. Still young but already showing lemon zest and Oyster shell. Creamy texture, long finish

Gorgeous. An hour in the most elegant condrieu ever. Echoes of tropicality. Mineral. Gorgeous. Poor typicity. Very high quality.

Classic Chablis brine. Moderate acidity. Dense and rich.

If you want to be a typicist you will hate this. It’s quite rich and not in your face acidic.

If you want to view this objectively it’s stunning wine. Dense. Complex. Rich.

Shows what a genius does in an atypical year.

So... very interesting.

Blind I would guess a really elegant northern Rhône maybe except for the kiss of green apple. Balanced. But not acidic. Very Mineral. Rich. Delicious. But not typical. Which is fine.

It’s not what I would reach for if I wanted a standard Chablis. But it’s delicious. You should be collecting wines from this producer every year. And this is a awesome wine to have in a vertical.

Super delicious. Great luscious fruit. Hint of grapefruit on the finish. Less in your face acidity and minerality. But a delicious wine in its own right. Bought from Fass Selections.
