Bright, crimson red, fresh in the nose with dark berries & some tobacco leaf & green peppers. The magic happens on the palate. Great purity & great depth, good tension between the juicy acidity and the fruit in the mid palate, amazing tannin management - grippy, juicy, slightly edgy but w/o becoming rustic.
There’s character here, lots of great details and v. good flow.

Bright red fruit on the nose. Tart red fruit on the palate with raspberry, strawberry, cranberry, and red cherry along with blackberry and a hint of white pepper. Medium alcohol, light to medium tannins, and high acid with a long finish.

Barnyard funk up front, green bell pepper and asparagus . 🐐Amazing to get this on the nose actually. Beautiful balance of fruit and acid. Tart cherry, pomegranate. Pithy and earthy notes as well. 13%

Iron, graphite, mineral nose. Savory with fruit definitely taking a back seat on this one. Lighter bodied, medium plus acidity, and minerals. Mild drying tannins. Suspect this will improve with age.

Green pepper, black pepper, cherry, currant. Wow what a nose. The palate is full and wide with a ripe currant and a radiant cherry, a strong acid backbone and a dense matter. The touch is soft on the sides and some tannins kick in in the rear. Super long and fruitful finish that goes for ever. Wow this is my kind of stuff!
