Clos Micot Pommard 1er Cru Pinot Noir

Glorious nose. Classic Pommard stoniness. Floral tones as well and dark black cherries. Gorgeous and fragrant. Cannot stop smelling. So classic. Gorgeous palate with top finesse and lovey sweet red cherry fruit and tremendous confectionery inner mouth aromas. Juicy and stoney tannins. After air the nose has strawberry and rhubarb. Really a 9.6 nose. It’s so spicey and floral and stoney. Gorgeously fruited and compact. Just a brilliant bottle. Velvety and sweet. So long. Such a nice contrast of decadent and cerebral. This is a wine that will benefit from age. It’s got a significant structure and classic Pommard tannins. But they are so sweet and the length is just boffo! What a wine.
