Infanticide but oh so good. Full Cherry nose. Powerful, great acidity but very drinkable young. Super long finish, this is a monumental effort. Will easily keep another 30 years and will only get better and more complex over the next ten years. Can not wait to taste the 2016.

3rd wine in the Chambolle GC bracket at Prince Wine Store last Saturday 14 Feb. Not giving much on the nose. Sinewy rather than fleshy on the palate. Too young to be drinking a wine like this - all its potential bottled up at this stage.

Juicy, fresh, ripe, suave tannins...a wine of the vintage. Amazing potential. Very excited to have them in our portfolio.

On this April fools day, I make no April fools joke. Today we were the first to taste the 2015 from barrel before malolactique fermentation and the 2014 from the bottle. The 14 just bottled this week. The 15 Clos de Tart shows great potential. With the 15 yield down 30% from 14, the 15 is benefiting from the high concentration. The bad news is there will be very little of it for sale and one might project with low yield, higher demand & prices. The 15 is fragrant soft florals, lavender, beautiful soft spices, fresh oak dust, mid to light fresh red fruits. Tasted with Jacques.

1990 Clos de Tart is beautifully mature but definitely in the end of its peak. Dried flowers, cedar, earthy, cherries. Fine palate, spicy.
