Vallée de la Bekaa Vieilles Vignes Cinsault

2017 vintage. Made from 70 years old Cinsault vines in the Bekaa Valley. Fermented in concrete tanks using wild yeasts. Very attractive floral nose. Bright red fruit and subtle spices. Refreshing acidity makes the alcohol (14 % abv) go unnoticed. Uncomplicated and delightful, highly recommended.

Juicy red plum, red and dark cherry, violet, stony minerality , elevated acidity and elevated grippy tannins. Medium+ intensity, medium finish. 14% abv.

This is a review for the 2017 rosé made from Cinsault, Grenache and Syrah. (Sorry no record for it yet) Spicy, vegetal, tart cherries. Bright acidity.

Medium ruby in color, some sediment a little cloudy; on the nose, clean, with tertiary aromas of baking spices, and light intensity primary aromas of strawberries and raspberries; on the palate, it's dry with medium acidity, medium body, high alcohol, and pronounced intensity primary and secondary flavors of red currants, tart cherries, and a hint of asphalt and clay pots with a long finish. This wine is complex and intense. Overall, I rate this wine as very good.

Black cherry, red plum, violet, mad grippy tannins, nice acid. Took a second to open up.
