Morgon Gamay

Had some nice wines from this producer in the past, but this 2018 was a total disaster. Liquid rubber anyone? Undrinkable, straight down the drain.

Red apple skins, rose petal, sweet tarts, tar, lean. Needs some age

Super minerally and spicy Beaujolais. Fresh fruit.

Continue to love this producer. Dark cherry candy with cinnamon red hot, anise, sage, a little mushroom, juicy and bright with so much savory. Textural pleasure. One of my faves of the night.

Great bottle... perfect age.

Fun, funky, quite quaffable, I like how approachable it is, doesn't require too much contemplation, but that's one of the main attractions.

Vintage 2013, deceptively simple with refinement, modest raspberry smell and dangerously delicious

Little tight, some bottle age should really help, fruit started to come out a bit an hour later. Would like to taste 2+ years from now
