Domaine de Roche-Guillon
Clos De La Tour Fleurie Gamay
Fleurie, Beaujolais, Burgundy, France

Very good. Fragrant nose is classic Bojo: ripe, deep, crunchy cherry and tons of crushed granite. A nice warm autumn spice note too. On the palate, it’s a tad more austere than the nose would lead you to expect. Tons of crushed granite minerals, a bit of dark cherry in the background. It’s fairly extracted, with some chalky tannin and a bit of bitter astringency in the finish. Overall, good, but it’s definitely a wine that benefits from being drunk with food rather than on its own.

Slightly candied red fruit aromas and flavors, solid floral and mineral notes as well, good acidity and balance, lingering finish, close to mature.
