Yummy, didn't know they made wine in the Democratic Republic of Congo. This DRC sure is nice. 1999 was velvety, but this is pure silk. Nice fresh fruit with a hint of watermelon.

Beautiful. Had with mushroom pecorino salad. This is really something. Amazingly complex nose after 1 hr.

Slow oxed for two hours te wine is typically DRC. Automatically red fruit, Asian spice and sous bois with a good but not long or complex finish.

Opened bottle two hours prior needs at least three. Terrific nose of red cherries with black currants and on the mouth a good length, very balanced and smooth with a touch of astringency at the end. Notable mix of red and black fruit with some tobacco along with traditional Asian spice
