A blend of 37% Syrah, 27% Zinfandel, 31% Petite Sirah and 5% Tannat. Dark Ruby with ripe dark fruit aromas with big spicy oak. On the palate flavors of black cherry and blackberry, black pepper, leather and cacao notes. Well balanced with approachable tannins, long finish ending with vanilla oak note. Good value.

2015 vintage doesn't integrate as easily as the'14. Still, it's a powerful blend, and the best of Daou mountain is on display.

Nice dark purple color, aromas of blackberries, plums and burnt vanilla. Flavors of black fruit with raspberries and a hint of vanilla.

I love Daou. They are doing some amazing things and this is no exception. Also good example of what's coming out of Paso Robles. Blend of Syrah, Petit Syrah, Zin, and Tannat. This is a powerhouse, but won't be for everyone. Fruit-forward, this doesn't pull any punches, full of blackberry pie, spicebox, and pepper. Rich and mouthfilling. Stock up. Bought it on a whim today at Costco for $16. If you were to ask me if I'm going back to get more, I'd quote David Puddy. "All signs point to YES."
