The sickest vintage of this wine yet. Bouland is a master. This parcel is close to 80 yrs old, I believe. Nose is woodsy, bay leaf, cassis, wild leafy strawberries, white pepper and some lighter soil tones. Same on the palate with great sap and length. Chewy and dense yet crushable at the same time. Gonna buy a case to lay down.

Precise, Expressive and tasty. Smoky strawberries and raspberries with herbs, tobacco and crushed stones. Fantastic lingering finish.
