Côte du Py Morgon Gamay

Introductory Morgon. Sour red fruit on the nose. Palate's dramatic, berry centric acidity dominates. Still enough nuance for barnyard funk and some punchy fruit. Right on for the price.

Juicy, plush with just the right amount of earth and funk. What more could you want from Beaujolais?

Expected fireworks, got bottle rockets and Roman candles. Still fun, still enjoyable, but not all I was hoping for. Still a great bottle of wine. Dusty wild strawberry and some funk.

Черешня, клубника, красная смородина, клюквенный соус, смола, подлесок, жирная земля, едва заметная минеральность и аккуратный, симпатичный фанк. Среднее тело с милой, плюшевой кислотностью и несуществующими танинами. Просто, гладко и сочно, открыто, чрезвычайно питко.

Lush, nice nose, comes across much more full bodied then a wine at 12%.

Herby, anise nose that gives way to a candied carbonic aroma. Ripe bojo. Highly drinkable.

Bazooka Joe nose. Palate not as exciting as the nose

Outstanding! Just opened another bottle 2/19/17 and enjoyed over three days. Held up beautifully. To quote Ian Cauble: "extraordinarily bright aromas plump red cherries, wild strawberries, fresh current jelly, strawberry leaf, white flowers, fresh cut roses, crushed white stone explode in the glass. This is an invigorating and exciting wine fresh out of the bottle; it's irresistible."
