Darker than usual red but clear and light on the swirl; the nose oozes green pyrazine almost cab franc-like notes followed by red cherries and tart strawberries, and a ”floral stony-watery minerality”; dry with high acids and medium-high alcohol on the palate with silky tannins and with the fruit-flavors in the background; the mid-palate and finish are fairly broad and long, respectively, and liquorice lingers at the end. I love it! Shostakovich 5th, 50-month parmesan, and Danish Vesterhavsost accompanied.
