Wow best bottle to date of this wine. Incredible aromatics , complex still some tannins for aging .

Amazing. Incredible bottle showing sous bois, truffle and black tea, still with a core of sweet fruit. #comtearmand #1978 #pommard #burgundy

Beautiful old burgundy nose - black tea and mushroom - savory on the palate, slight animale, fairly robust - mid palate to end thins some, finish is fairly compact. Aromatics are quite enjoyable - we'll see how it evolves in the glass.
