This was much better than the last btl I had that still needed time to open showing red fruits, cassis, cedar, leather, licorice & savory spice.

I am on a bit of Paige Macquin kick since being introduced to the vintner a couple of months ago. This ‘04 magnum drank almost too smooth in 1Q18.

Not as wild as I'd hoped. Blackberry jam, more blood than game, nose of some purple flowers, nice smooth Bourbon-esque burn on the back palette.

Not going to rate. Opened 3 bottles and had 3 bottle variations. Taint on one, muted palate on two, beautiful number three. If only we could use bottle three as a baseline this is a wonderful wine
