Great wine. 2005, dark fruit, pencil lead, blackberries, liquorice, fine tannins and great length. Good value

Wonderful vintage for Meyney - fully mature and at its peak for drinking IMO. Tannins are well integrated and subtly present on the back palette. Soft cedar notes complement rich blackberries - an absolute joy to drink!

Medicinal tannins. Lacking in depth. Short mid palate. Nice for a week night but not for company. At the price, not a bad deal.
