Oct 12th, 2023Mild bouquet of dusty dark fruit. Quick mild sour cherries upfront with a dusty fruit mild tobacco finish. Definitely old world style.

Sep 8th, 2024Plush second label goodness. Archetypal richness and surprisingly soft tannins, 5 years might have been the sweet spot.

Jan 2nd, 2023Pretty deep ruby , violet rim. Quite Cabernet nose , cool blackcurrant , grafite and touch of spicy oak . Quite dry and strict on the palate , more of the dark cassis , redcurrant and grafite touches , tannin is slightly gritty, acidity is refreshing and balanced . Length is only ok , I was expecting a touch more . This comes across as slightly lacking in substance, and frankly a bit boring , and perhaps shows the limitations of the vintage , especially for second wines. Drink now and over the 5-7 years .
