This is what classic Bordeaux is all about. Perfume of tobacco, leather and cassis gives way to fully resolved tannins in the palate. Good acidity, leather, tobacco and cassis/currants on the palate finish super long. Haut Brion is always amazing and this bottle is definitely near or at its peak.

This really showed well, full bodied & richer than the LM with sweet dark cherry, plum & black currant, leather, tobacco, black pepper, spice cake & violets. Nice vintage for HB. 1 vote for WOTN
