Interesting Medoc. Merlot heavy with Cab, followed by Cab Franc and Petit Verdot. Nice recipe. Ages interestingly: after an hour it's fruity. Strawberry, vanilla, very nice. Good with meats. After 2.5 hours it starts to flatten noticeably sour cherries a little more acid. Best if consumed within 2 hours (I can't say I've experienced this before). Medium+ tannins.
Bottom line: open 30-45 minutes before. Good for drinking then or with robust meats.

Nice blend. Will buy this bottle again. Paired well with a beet, chickpeas, sardines salad. Maybe the garlic s the ingredient that paired well with this wine.

Apr 3rd, 2026Well structured Bordeaux with smoke, cedar cassis and plum. Tannins are prominent at the finish but recede with airing. Good bottle with reasonable price point.
