Interesting Medoc. Merlot heavy with Cab, followed by Cab Franc and Petit Verdot. Nice recipe. Ages interestingly: after an hour it's fruity. Strawberry, vanilla, very nice. Good with meats. After 2.5 hours it starts to flatten noticeably sour cherries a little more acid. Best if consumed within 2 hours (I can't say I've experienced this before). Medium+ tannins.

Bottom line: open 30-45 minutes before. Good for drinking then or with robust meats. — 20 days ago

Raspberry nose with a hint of barnyard funk. On the palate black tea, tart cherry, cocoa and oak give way to acid that builds through the finish with lingering tobacco notes. A nicely balanced wine with a bold flavor profile and light mouthfeel. — 8 years ago
