Great, great wine. Youthful and severe tannins provide grip and balance to its highly concentrated dark, plummy fruit. Loads of spice, almost peppery and additions of dark chocolate and licorice. Toasty oak frame the lengthy finale where fruit, minerals and youthfulness are key words. Best from 2022.

2015 vintage. Medium body. Okay nose. Almost medicinal flavors but let’s go with “aggressively herbaceous.” Decent structure. Was praying for more as always.

Good wine, juicy, fresh and some minerality, deft oak treatment, can hit 93p in a couple of years ..., nice style!

Dry but needs a good hour decant or wait another 5~ years
