Minty, herbal, red fruits, very fresh, gorgeous acidity, classic old school Bordeaux, love it

Early on, this wine was better than the 90. It was rounder and was more fruit forward but yielded to the 90 on the long decant. Out of magnum as well.

For $20...cannot be beat! Round solid all around wine.

Vibrant color, excellent nose, finished well. 36 years in the bottle…

Excellent- might even get better with a bit more time

Pessac Leognan as always

Very nice and ripe to drink. I disagree with Wine Spectator who apparently lowered the rating of this wine to an 84. I think it still ranks high and drinks well with strong tannins. Slightly dry with a tinge of fruit and walnut. Goes well with red meat.

Interesting

Light weight BDX. Almost reminded me of an 10 year old AmericanPinot. Good with the steak but nota discussion wine.
