From the much maligned 2011 vintage. 47 % cabernet sauvignon, 43% merlot, 7% cabernet franc, 3% petit verdot. Very shy in the beginning, this wine improves spectacularly with decanting. Smells like cassis and cedarwood. Medium-bodied old-school Bordeaux with slightly rustic tannin, but well-balanced and a nice food wine. Not up to Cru Classé level, but so is the price. Very good value at 26 euro

Delicious, slips down wonderfully. Very well made and balanced with a fantastic nose. Probably not hugely memorable but still an enjoyable experience drinking it

Mid-weight body, balanced tannins. No surprises.

Still young, but more medium bodied Bordeaux. Really nice floral notes on the nose that continues to the palate and re-emerges on the finish. Elegant spice and earth notes capped with mocha and currant. Great thanksgiving wine.

Good aroma making me feel black fruits and I feel the taste coming from Haut Medoc. It would be medium body. But that is meaning it should take one hour decanting. Then even better. @1300, Winona, 161224
