Mulberry, black rasberry, eccalyptus and black tea aromas. Hints of pine sap and cedar. Plush and soft on the palate. Essentially an equal part split of Merlot and Cabernet. Plum, blackberry and forest notes. Length and depth of flavor are there too. Merlot brings a presumable softness. Very approachable, but no rush.

2018 vintage. Yes, the “green”
note from the Vinous review is there but it is very high/front palate. Still oodles of structure, fruit, balance and drinkability that minimizes it. Starts as green bell pepper initially, then trends toward mint. Second bottle in a little over a week. First bottle was a monster. Second bottle a little more restrained. Where exactly does the truth lie? In the middle as usual? More deep investigation required…**EDIT**Green note gone the next day/24 hrs later after leaving half the bottle in the fridge w/o any preservation techniques other than putting the cork back in the bottle/refrigeration.

2018 vintage. Already actively managing the big balancing act of fruit, tannins/acidity and body…and it’s a baby! If the second label is drinking this well, gotta get my hands on some of the mothership juice from this vintage. Classic Bordeaux and a ripping QPR tambíen.
