I wanted to wait with this wine but it keep staring me in the face - I wish I had waited- violet rim and it opened up with mushrooms and cherry fruit, cedar and perfect balance still a lot of life wish I had waited but it’s awesome 🍷

Tasted 15 Chinons, this was my favorite, a great all around wine, it has that "yummy factor" that kept me coming back. At the end of the day, beautiful aromatics and wonderful texture aside, it is the yumminess that really matters.

A wonderfully balanced wine. Red and purple fruit with A vegetal quality. Could be enjoyed alone. But something like a shepherds pie or a rustic dish would make it sing.

Finessed precision and clarity. Perfumed aromatics. Fresh tart, yet creamy, red fruit tightly wound up and refusing to unravel in the decanter. This is an exercise in patience.

Young, even after decanting, but damn good.

A wonderfully pure and fresh wine. Less herbal than many Chinon but uncompromising.
