Extremely powerful. As a 2013 it was way too young to be opened. There is great promise when it gets a few more years to age. Super rich black fruit, currant and chocolate. Once the immediate oak influences integrate it should be amazing. — 7 years ago
A wonderfully balanced wine. Red and purple fruit with A vegetal quality. Could be enjoyed alone. But something like a shepherds pie or a rustic dish would make it sing. — 7 years ago
Outstanding! There is the perfect moment for a bottle to be opened and tonight was it. It was the wine equivalent of a album that you can listen to from start to finish. — 7 years ago
A surprising richness with sour black cherry and baked strawberry. For having a little age it is still young. At first smell purple flowers and herbs de provenance come flying out of the glass. — 7 years ago
Still drinking like it was just bottled. Quite enjoyable but it could have been decanted the day before. — 7 years ago
Finesse and powerful. The age showed no oxidation. Time rounded out the rough edges. — 7 years ago
Bright and alive. Stripped down to it's true self. Showed no signs of decline. Could of waited another ten years but it had to be opened. Bold fruit had mellowed and the oak had integrated with perfect balance. — 7 years ago
