There is so much talk today about finding small unknown boutiquie wines from lesser known places. It's time to remember the legendary Wineries that brought us here. In 1967 Donn Chappellet planted his hillside in Pritchard Hill. This Chardonnay is a yummy value oriented delicious wine for my Wednesday supper I am thrilled to share with all of you.

My annual bottle of domestic Chardonnay did not disappoint! NOT overly oaked or buttery. Nice clean and fresh and perfect with thanksgiving dinner!

Not my favorite vintage, seemingly low acidity. Yellow fruit: yellow apples, pears, a tinge of pineapple. A fine example of Napa Chard, but not the best the folks on the hill have ever made.
