L'incandescent Rosé De Saignée Grand Cru Champagne Blend

Chalky peach skin and flint and bitter almond yeahhhh boy

I really enjoyed this - a sleek and liberally saignee. Chalky texture, fresh strawberry nose.

A very different champagne. Not my favorite, but certainly unique.

Tried three of their new line of wines since they began transitioning over to bio/organic approaches. This rosé was the least interesting of those three.

I don’t think I’ll ever get over these sexy Saignée wines. This drinks as well as it looks. Delicious aromas of strawberries and red berries along with black cherries. Mint and dried herbs to go with a faint hint of earth.

100% Pinot Noir from Grand Cru Verzy with the low dosage of 1.5. You never feel that bite however. Full bodied and incredibly lively especially after given plenty of time in the glass. Powerful yet elegant in equal amounts. On the second day it becomes quite still but still so very interesting. A lovely lovely rosé.

So fine. This guy is nailing it!

Peaches. Strawberry. Typical saignee finish.

Detailed and complex. Hard to believe this is a Rose de saignee. So much character all around.
