Satiny. High acid and almost no dosage, but enough textural richness to just pull it off. Toast & biscuit. Barely ripe red fruit aromas and flavors dominate: cranberry, red apple, tart cherries (after all, this 100% Verzy and thus Pinot territory — albeit the marginal northern limits of it). Citrus, of course: lemon, ruby red grapefruit. Rich caramel notes with some mushroom developing.

A little too dry for my liking. Also would have enjoyed zippier bubbles.

Good acidity but not enough fruit on the palate to complement. Good palate cleanser.

After they reduced the dosage to Extra Brut it has been one of my House Champagnes. This one is deg. Sept. 2017, Pinot Noir/Chardonnay 62/38 , light golden color, red mature apples on the nose and freshness with acid aftertaste makes completely delicious.
