Decent, but I cant go as high on score as this was at release (WS #31 of 2011). I would describe it as rustic, lots of bricking around the edges. The fruit is a little bit tart and the acidity slightly overwhelms the finish. Its right in the middle of its drinking window, so its either just not a great bottle or just not my thing.

Funk on the nose.
Palette is drum tight. Unbalanced acidity levels, but somehow, the overarching structure carries it off. Loads of leather, raisins, truffles and cinnamon. Finishes with rich tannins and moderate sweetness.

Last bottle. Delicious. Sappy cherry fruit, a spine of minerality. Still has good grip.
