For the price, it's tough to beat this easy drinking Chianti. Great with most pasta dishes or just solo.

On sale at Meijer. Not sure if it is a Sangiovese or not. Had 2017 in January of 2021. Was a really nice Chianti. Slightly dry but with some fruits and spice. Made homemade pizza tonight and paired really well. I would definitely buy this one again.

Dark red fruit, plum, dark cherry, tobacco, leather, oak, clove, cinnamon, and white pepper. Medium tannin, medium alcohol, and high acid. Recommend decanting.
