This is a decent food-friendly, smooth-drinking red blend. There’s red currants up front and a bit of dusty coffee to the finish.

I really liked this wine. It wasn’t as great as some other Montepulciano but I still liked it. I drank it with a French dip sandwich that I made along with Johnny’s Au Jus and I thought it paired well. I will buy it again!

Big aroma of dark dusty berries. Dry light sour cherries and berries upfront. Ends with a dry tannic dusty finish. Classic Italian montepulciano . Delicious, drinkable, balanced

You see this wine in just about every shop in our market. Medium ruby color. Aromas and flavors of dark/black berry fruit and plums. Hints of vanilla, black licorice and dark chocolate. Rich and bold. Medium bodied with reasonable acidity. Reasonably well structured. Smooth and dry finish. Basic Italian red, but consistently drinkable. Thanks for sharing, Ron B!
