2018; Sparkling Nebbiolo (Spanna). The new vintage landed in our cellar quite some time ago, just getting around to tasting this evening.
What a fantastic color, nothing else like this in Italy.

Minerals with subtle pretty red fruit, strawberries, some cherry hard candy and red flowers. Great tension, long, vibrating stony and yeasty finish. Still a lot of primary yeast notes that I think will integrate nicely with time.
