Well made (and enjoyable memories of an afternoon with the winemaker in Seattle) but too ripe and oaky for me tonight. Maybe another 5-10 years would help

Intense dark fruit, tightly wound...will age well.

Such a lovely wine. Let it sit out for a bit and it got better.

Fantastic Cab Franc heavy blend. Ben knows how to work with CF. Actually surprisingly good with smoked bacon.

A baby, will do my best to hold off on this for a while! Very attractive now, with black fruits, dried herbs, violets and vanilla. I think this was mostly cab franc which is rad. Certainly more broad shouldered than Loire or even right bank but awesome balance

A special wine from WA...84% can franc, 8% merlot, 8% Verdot...beautifully aromatic and elegant cab franc. Very impressed with the aromas (olive and floral), acidity, structure and finish. 👏🏻

I am drinking this too young. Firm tannins and still closed. With air will be better, I'm sure. Bright red fruit and sweet aromatics. Sweet tobacco frames with the slightest hint of spice Also, this is 84% cab franc and has zero Cabernet Sauvignon so the description is off. Has 8% each merlot and petit Verdot. After a few hours, just became more austere and strikingly acidic. Won't open another for a few years.
