This is a ridiculous value and I am kicking myself I didn’t get more. This should have been a case purchase, and I never buy a case of anything. The nose has dense — and I mean dense—vibrant raspberry/cherry fruit, so pure, along with spice and dark liquid minerals. The fruit concentration in the mouth is terrific, with very nice acids and a just enough tannin to contain the fruit with some nice structure. Lengthy, pure, clingy finish. So good. I am dead serious about this 9.4.

Berry/cherry and some oak show in this lovely Chianti, @Tom Casagrande waxed eloquent on this exact wine in the spring of 2022, my own rating is a tad below his, but he’s spot on in his descriptors and also about what an amazing value this bottle presents!!
