Catena Alta Historic Rows Malbec

Deep Ruby, purple hues, aged 18 months in French oak, with aromas of ripe dark fruits and floral spice. On the palate flavors of fresh blackberry and black currants with notes of licorice, vanilla and tobacco. Long finish, fine tannins, crisp acidity, ending dry with fruit and slight earthy notes. Nice!

This is a nice everyday drinking Malbec. It’s rich and smooth. Black cherry, black plum, dark raspberries, coffee, earthy, and a nice spice note,

Really great Malbec with wonderful concentration and depth! Lush fruit and a bit cedary!

One of my fave Malbec wineries. Medium bodied, well balanced, not too earthy.

Ok fruit. Some interesting terroir

Lovely wine, fruit forward but not overly jammy, just the right amount of gravel and balance, a rounded palette. If it was a person it'd be a stately old cowboy dressed for Sunday dinner. Great on it's own, great with umami and meat.
