Such a unique take on Zinfandel. Lower alcohol and much more red-fruited than is typical, the nose has great purity of cherry and raspberry compote, crushed rock, and a dusting of baking spice. In the mouth it’s got great flavor concentration in an aerodynamically lean package. Intense red fruit and lots of crushed rock. Great acids. A perfect summer Zin. This winery never disappoints, in my experience.

Love this wine! If you are expecting a punch in the mouth fruit bomb…. Go elsewhere. This is all about finesse. Dusty red fruit, very expressive bouquet, medium tannins.
