This was incredibly good. Never had the reds from this producer but this was off the charts. Super pure and beautifully ripe yet balanced. Very pommard In Character and more fruit driven (like California almost) but tons of lift as well. Excellent

This wine has a lot going on: some hints of florals and smoke with red and black concentrated fruit, super structured with plenty of tannin and racy acidity. But it’s got a ways to go soften up as a sipper. Loads of potential pleasure in its future but not so open right now.
