Established in 1876 by Jacob Beringer & continues in its 3rd century of crafting wines from Napa. This is a "Big" Chardonnay. Developed aromas of ripe stone fruit with tropical notes and hints of baking spices. On the palate ripe apple, pear and pineapple, very creamy with a buttery texture, grilled almond and vanilla flavors well integrated. A full body Chardonnay, on a lingering finish, that almost doesn't end, ending with a big nutty, buttery finish. Just tasted '13, some age added finesse to this wine.

A very good and drinkable Chardonnay now! Lots of subtle fruit immediately on the palate giving way to a silky smooth mouth with light butterscotch finish. Drinks best at about 55 degrees vs chilled.

Buttered warm bread. Oak is prevalent. M acid. A bit hot.

Great chard. An oak bomb for sure, but silky texture, great structure. Not one dimensional though, as there is plenty of pear, apple.

About as typical as you can get for this style and that's not a bad thing

Very nice, rich and well integrated flavors but a little racy for such a big Chard. Maybe we drank it 3 years early. Oops! :-/

Under priced and under appreciated. Should be carrying the brand but unfortunately a victim of it.

A delightful surprise. Big and rich but balanced. It's like corn flakes, try it again for the first time, you won't be disappointed
