Vivid black cherry comes together with sage, shavings of orange zest and spice as the 2022 Pinot Noir Willamette Valley comes together in the glass. This is racy with cooling acidity and ripe red and blue fruits that saturate. Grippy tannins amass toward the close. Some spice, comes across as flabby. Cranberry and a touch orange peel. OK but not my thing.

Left over from Elissa’s 2024 Christmas cookie party. Good bright red fruit. A little tart on the finish. Good with food.

Lovely wine, not as robust as I would have chosen for the salmon, but beautiful on its own. Restaurant lists are what they are. I’d order this again.
