Sonoma Coast Chardonnay

Let’s call this the “come back” from Aubert. This being their regional bottling, it’s strong. Focused and precise with white flowers and hazelnuts on the nose. Honey and apricots on the palate, that left us in raptures. I know that Aubert and value could be considered a non sequitur, but here it works. I just purchased a load of this from the 17 vintage, and I’m thrilled after tasting this.

Little wine party at home

New 2013 from Aubert Sonoma Coast Chard. Needed a good 30 minutes to spread its wings. Bright Fruit with big acid levels that opened up as we tried it. All the components of Aubert. Personally need a year to age . Cbb

Very approachable and lush, sweet with notes of oak

Already drinking well, but patience is always awarded with Auberts.

Pears, wispy lemons, finishes well, really enjoyable

To me the bar that all Chards are measured by. Balance of complexity. Has everything. Smooth delicious. Excellent.

Very lemony, both in nose and body, good acidity stands up to food well
