Oak is pretty integrated but this is rich, a bit buttery and with some clear butterscotch notes that evokes a bit of sweetness. Got richer with air.

Another winner from Mark Aubert. Took about 15-20 min to open up, but then the nose was redolent with aromas of lemon peel, ripe melon, and hints of butter. Great balance across the mid-palate, with a lingering finish. Much better than when I last tried this a couple of years ago, suggesting that this has evolved with a bit of time in bottle. That being said, I suspect this is peaking now, so don't wait too long!

This was nice and rich. Creamy, caramel, and a hint of tropical fruit. Very well balanced.
